
2 Cups Crushed Blackberries
(About 2 Quarts Whole Berries)
3 Cups Brandy
1 1/2 Cups Sugar Syrup

- put the freshly crushed berries including the juice into a jar with 2
cups of brandy. Shake well, seal tightly and let steep one week.
- Pour the mixture through a wire strainer several times, being sure to press out all the liquid; strain well through cheesecloth. Add the remaining cup of brandy and the sugar syrup.
